We are marking this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week with the launch of our student led Crossley Heath Mindfulness Movement. During the last week, over 40 eager Student Leaders from across year groups have received mindfulness training by our staff specialist Miss Denton. Their new skills and knowledge will help us to embed mindfulness into the daily and weekly routines of students and staff here at school.
Having opportunities to practice mindfulness is scientifically proven to support long term wellbeing, reduce anxiety and help us to grow emotional resilience.
