Our Transition Events are designed to help both students and parents feel prepared and confident about joining Crossley Heath, offering key information, support and opportunities to experience school life before September.

Transition Evening - Monday 30th June 2025

Our Transition Evening provides parents with all the information they need regarding the transition process. Hear from Mr Spencer, our Year 7 Progress Leader and Transition Lead, Mr Jones, Headteacher and Chris Davis, our Associate Assistant Head who leads on Students Wellbeing and Student Leadership.

Transition Day - Friday 4th July 2025

Transition Day is a fabulous opportunity for our new students to get to know their new school and peer group. Students will experience their first year group assembly, meet their form tutor, have a guided tour of our amazing school building, learn about our break and lunchtime routines and experience a range of introductory lessons at Crossley Heath.

Induction Day - Wednesday 3rd September 2025

At Crossley Heath, we are lucky to be able to offer the first day of the school year to just new pupils. This means that only the new Year 7 pupils will be in school that day as well as Year 12, but they will be based in the 6th Form Block.
