A huge thank you to the staff and 4 of our senior sixth formers (Lakshya, Anaya, Emily & Chaarvik) for supporting the trip.

      💙 Climbing for Kindness

A huge congratulations to Isobel for her incredible achievement this weekend! She climbed the 28-metre outdoor wall at Rokt, the tallest of its kind in the UK, in just 5 minutes and 21 seconds! 🧗‍♀️💪

Not only did this take immense courage but Isobel raised a fantastic £150 for the Halifax RSPCA branch, showing true kindness and compassion for animals in need.

Her determination and thoughtfulness are a shining example of our school values of Courage and Kindness, bravely taking on challenges and using that strength to help others.

      Well done, Isobel! 🌟

      Published 08/06/25

Meet Elijah, one of our wonderful students who has taken it upon himself to spearhead his own independent fundraising campaign. Together, Elijah and his form group have raised an incredible £133.46 through a sponsored silence, choosing to donate the funds to WWF and The Salvation Army.

This thoughtful act is a shining example of our school values in action (kindness, courage and excellence) and shows how our students continue to honour the legacy of our founders, the Crossley Brothers, whose own generosity laid the foundations of our school in the 1800s.

      Well done to all involved!

    • An Incredible Week for Monty!

      Published 07/06/25

Over the half-term break, Monty Ramsden delivered a string of outstanding performances on the cricket field:

On Sunday, he scored a superb 96 for West Yorkshire U15s.

On Tuesday, he was 98 not out captaining the Bradford League U15s when heavy rain brought the match to an early end.

Refusing to be denied his maiden century, Monty hit a brilliant 102 for his club Lightcliffe on Saturday – and that’s not all! He also took 3 catches and made 2 stumpings in the same match.

To top off an extraordinary week, Monty (pictured collecting his kit from Headingley) has been selected to represent Yorkshire CCC for the fifth consecutive season. His first fixture is this Sunday vs Leicestershire CCC at Worksop College.

A huge congratulations and the very best of luck from everyone at Crossley Heath – we’re proud of you, Monty!
