This week’s well-deserved Star Staff shoutout goes to Mr Barber, whose kindness, creativity and care for students truly stood out.

After noticing one of his students was struggling to focus in lessons, Nick took it upon himself to design and build a fidget bar prototype, a clever tool that fits under the front of a desk to help students with hyperactivity needs channel their energy and maintain concentration.

This thoughtful innovation shows not only Nick’s problem solving skills, but also his deep commitment to inclusion and supporting all learners. We’re so lucky to have staff who go the extra mile to make a difference.
