We’re delighted to share some fantastic news from the chess world. Sri has achieved an outstanding result at the 3rd Sheffield Chess International this weekend!

Competing in a highly challenging 5-round tournament filled with strong and experienced players, Sri finished unbeaten, scoring 4.5 points and securing 1st place, along with a £500 prize.

Despite entering as the 16th seed, Sri showed incredible focus, consistency and tactical skill. His strong opening rounds, confident middle-game play and calm decision-making under pressure helped him outplay higher-ranked competitors throughout the event.

Not only was his chess exceptional, but his sportsmanship and composure were equally impressive.
