For many families in our local community they will wake up on Christmas Day to absolutely nothing. The annual Rotary Shoebox appeal provides those families with the necessary things to help them get through and to enjoy the festive period with a little more happiness. We are taking part in the appeal and this year have decided to go about it a little different than in the past. On the 13th December we have a non-uniform day raising funds for Calderdale Smartmove, please send your child(ren) in with a £1 or more donation and on the same day if your child(ren) could bring in something for the appeal in addition that would be great. This could be either new toys, toiletries or Christmas food and sweets, please nothing second hand.
