We are very proud of our students who achieve highly academically and engage in a multitude of creative, sporting, cultural and character building pursuits.
In 2018, we were delighted to be included in the Sunday Times Parent Power top 150 schools and 3rd best state school in their North of England category.
The Crossley Heath Sixth Form is a small, inclusive and vibrant community where students and teachers enjoy working together in order for everybody to realise their potential. Our goal is to provide our young adults with the skills and knowledge necessary to look after themselves and thrive in the wider world. We have high academic aspirations and foster integrity, independence and teamwork. Students are encouraged to think critically, to make well informed choices, to consider the views of others and to demonstrate strength of character.
Students are valued as individuals and expected to treat each other with kindness, sensitivity and respect. We genuinely care for and support each other here. We like to laugh and have fun together and value student ideas and creativity highly, as well as encouraging active participation in the life of the school and its local community.
